Deleting your toMate account
You can delete your toMate account and personal data at any time. There are two ways.
1. In the app (fastest)
- Open toMate and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted within 30 days.
2. By email (if you can't open the app)
If you no longer have access to the app or your device, email romanzhykhor@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account — or include the phone number you signed up with — and ask us to delete your account. We may ask you to verify that the account is yours before deleting it.
What gets deleted
- Your profile (name, photo, bio, city, interests)
- Activities you created and your participation history
- Your chat messages
- Reviews you wrote
All of the above is removed within 30 days of your request.
What we may keep
- A phone number on our safety block-list, stored separately, where this is necessary to protect the community.
- Records we are required to keep by law.
Crash reports are anonymised and contain no information that identifies you.
